Neural Network Function Approximation

I am engineering student and new in reserach area of RBDO.

I want to use Neural Network Approximation of Limit State Function and finally use it to calculate reliability.

I want to know either I can get Explicit formulation of function once network is trained successfully by optimizing weights and biases.?

A neural network typically has several layers, and you have formulas for evaluating the function in a series of expressions rather than a single one. If the network is simple enough (one or two layers) you can probably substitute to get a single expressions. However, I do not know any situation that would require that.

Well it means for case of ANN approx we can find reliability from methods such as MCS, FORM etc.
