Recently, many algorithms have been proposed in structural optimization. However, it is not easy to compare the performance of algorithms because most of them use different examples. Thus, we propose an idea of collecting good benchmark problems in SO and use them for comparison purpose. If you have a good one, please post it on REASON. A selected set of benchmark problems will be posted on the same website.
When you submit a benchmark problem, please clearly write the definition of optimization problem. Graphical illustration would be more helpful. Please clearly mention units and any known optimal designs.

Indeed, some classical benchmark problems and solutions are very good for some new optimization methods. Request some distinguished experts can publish some educationla papers about the benchmark problems.
