34th Design Automation Conference (DAC)
August 3-6, 2008
New York Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge, in New York City
Description
The 34th Design Automation Conference (DAC) is an integral part of the 2008 ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in Engineering Conferences (2008 IDETC/CIE) and will take place at the New York Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge, in New York City from August 3 to 6, 2008. This Conference is sponsored by the Technical Committee on Design Automation within the ASME Design Engineering Division. The ASME Design Automation Committee invites papers in all areas of design automation related to mechanical and engineered systems, including design representation, design optimization, design evaluation, and design integration. Papers with examples from industrial practice are also strongly encouraged. Suggested technical areas for paper submissions are listed below. Papers in other areas of design automation are also welcome.
Full Paper Submission Deadline: January 21, 2008 (The 2008 conference will be one month earlier than this year’s)
This is a hard deadline. There will be NO extensions.
Objectives
The 34th Design Automation Conference (DAC) aims at providing researchers and practitioners with a forum to present new research results, developments, and novel concepts, and to expand international cooperation, understanding and promotion of efforts and disciplines in the area of design automation.
